MEET DR. ONIKA PATEL

Dr. Onika Patel is a native of Phoenix, AZ and has been practicing in the dental field for over 10 years. She attended AT Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. After graduation, she completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through NYU Lutheran in order to be able to provide skilled, comprehensive services to her patients with an eye for cosmetic dentistry.
She completed her Fellowship through the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction awarded to only 6% of general dentists. Dr. Patel is an Adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health in the Restorative Preclinical / Clinical General Dentistry Department. Since completing her residency, she has provided superior care to thousands of patients throughout the valley.

MEET DR. ANGELA WILSON
Dr. Angela Wilson is a dentist who calls Arizona home. She was born and raised in Bishop, California, but has lived in the Phoenix area for the past 15 years. She went to dental school with Dr. Patel at AT Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where they became great friends. Dr. Wilson still teaches at the dental school as a preclinical restorative faculty member.
She performs all procedures at Minted Dental, many patients seek out treatment with Dr. Wilson for her keen eye for detail and her passion for creating beautiful smiles.
In her free time, Dr. Wilson enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being outdoors. You will often find her out on the lake or hiking with her dog, Draco.

MEET DR. TENY MATAVOOSI
Dr. Teny Matavoosi is a talented, caring and compassionate dentist who brings her zeal for dentistry everyday to work. She prioritizes patient comfort, understanding that many people have dental anxiety. She always takes her time to educate her patients, explaining procedures and answering questions so that they can feel empowered to make the best decision about their treatment. Her desire for perfection is reflected in her work ethic and results. She actively engages in continuing education and stays on top of the current trends and technological advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Teny earned her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy where she was actively involved and graduated with honors. She received the GV Black Award for Clinical Excellence and Community Outreach. Prior to heading to Detroit, she earned her Bachelors of Science degree from University of California San Diego where she was given the opportunity to lead as Clinic Manager for the UCSD Free Dental Clinic.
Did you know? Dr. Teny and Patel actually met through a continuing education study group, and became fast friends due to their similar training and methods of practicing dentistry.
MEET DR. Huyen Nguyen
Dr. Huyen Nguyen, known to many of our patients as "Dr. Win," has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. Her expertise spans general dentistry, including routine fillings, crowns, and high-quality restorative treatments that are built to last. She is known for her impeccable hand skills, always focused on giving patients durable, functional solutions that keep them smiling comfortably and confidently.
Dr. Nguyen earned her degree from Midwestern University in Illinois and has continued to expand her skills through advanced training. For the past four years, she and Dr. Patel have traveled across the U.S. for continuing education with the Academy of General Dentistry. Their shared commitment to clinical excellence made her a perfect addition to the Minted Dental team when she said she was moving to Arizona from Dallas.
Since joining Minted Dental, many of our patients have already had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Nguyen and experiencing her compassionate care firsthand. Her clear communication, upbeat energy, and genuine approach have made her a fast favorite among our patients.

MEET DR. BRENT WOODMANSEE
Specializes in IV Sedation & Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Dr. Brent Woodmansee completed his undergraduate education at Arizona State University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and earned degrees in finance and marketing. He then achieved his doctorate of dental medicine at Midwestern University, where he also graduated in the top 5% of his class. Lastly, Dr. Woodmansee finished a Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the United States Air Force, earning the title of Advanced Clinical Dentist during his 9 years of service in the military.

Dr. Woodmansee is a member of multiple professional societies, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesia, and the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office he enjoys hiking, off-roading, and skiing. Dr. Woodmansee is a Phoenix native and an avid Arizona State Sun Devil and Cardinals fan. Though he enjoys his hobbies and practice, his favorite time is spent with his wife, Lindsay, and their two daughters Harper and Sloan.
